Stayed is designed to help you keep track of your hotel stays. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be handled when you use the Stayed mobile application and related services.
Information you provide
You may enter hotel and room information, travel dates, ratings, notes, photos, nearby places, and other stay details. If account features are enabled, we may also receive basic account information such as your name, email address, or profile image.
Information collected automatically
We may receive limited technical information needed to operate and improve the app, such as device type, operating-system version, app version, crash information, and general usage events. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles.
How information is used
- To provide, maintain, and improve Stayed.
- To save, organize, sync, or display your stays and preferences.
- To diagnose errors, protect the service, and respond to support requests.
- To comply with applicable law and enforce our rights.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that help us operate the app, such as hosting, authentication, analytics, or crash-reporting providers. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service.
Retention and deletion
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. You may contact us for assistance with updating or deleting your information.
Children’s privacy
Stayed is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Your choices
You may control app permissions through your device settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of certain personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Stayed evolves. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date.
